Go for a jaunt from Helsinki to Espoo to see Nuuksio National Park about 48 minutes away. There's lots more to do: contemplate the long history of Sea Fortress Suomenlinna, get engrossed in the history at The National Museum of Finland, don't miss a visit to Senate Square, and take in the spiritual surroundings of Uspenskin Cathedral (Uspenskin Katedraali).

Sitting at the mouth of the Aura River, Turku is one of Finland's quaintest and most historically rich towns.
You'll find plenty of places to visit near Turku: Bonk Museum (in Uusikaupunki), Rauman Merimuseo - Rauma Maritime Museum (in Rauma) and Louhisaari Manor (in Askainen).
