Posio is a municipality of Finland. Step off the beaten path and head to Korouoma Canyon and Syote Ski & Nature Resort. Explore Posio's surroundings by going to Ski Resort Suomutunturi (in Suomu) and Syote National Park (in Syote). Spend the 3rd (Wed) exploring nature at Riisitunturi National Park. The adventure continues: shop like a local with Pentik Hill.

An urban center set amongst the great Arctic wilderness, Rovaniemi serves as the capital of Lapland province.
You'll explore the less-touristy side of things at Syvasenvaara Fell and Rovaniemi City Library. Go for a jaunt from Rovaniemi to Ranua to see Ranua Zoo about 1 hour away. There's lots more to do: don't miss a visit to Santa Claus Village, take an in-depth tour of Arktikum, admire the sheer force of Auttikongas, and explore the different monuments and memorials at German Soldier s Cemetery.
