Posio is a municipality of Finland. Step off the beaten path and head to Korouoma Canyon and Syote National Park. Explore Posio's surroundings by going to Syote Ski & Nature Resort (in Syote) and Ski Resort Suomutunturi (in Suomu). Spend the 3rd (Wed) exploring nature at Riisitunturi National Park. The adventure continues: shop like a local with Pentik Hill.

Inari

Inari is Finland's largest, most sparsely populated municipality, with four official languages, more than any other in the country. Eschew the tourist crowds and head to Pielpajarvi Wilderness Church and Inari Reindeer Farm. Explore Inari's surroundings by going to Saariselka (Hippupuoti Gift Shop, Angry Birds Activity Park, &more), Skolt Sami Heritage House (in Sevettijarvi) and Gold Prospector Museum (in Tankavaara). Spend the 23rd (Tue) exploring nature at Lemmenjoki National Park. There's still lots to do: relax in the rural setting at Tuula's Reindeer, hike along Juutua Nature Trail, see the interesting displays at Siida - Sami Museum and Nature Center, and wander the wide-open spaces of Reindeer Farm Petri Mattus.

Levi

Finland's largest and most popular ski resort, the fell of Levi provides excellent slopes and lively nightlife in an enchanting setting.
You'll discover tucked-away gems like Ounaskievari Reindeer Farm and Ounasjoki - River for activities. Explore the numerous day-trip ideas around Levi: Sarestoniemi Museum (in Kaukonen), Kittila (Lapland Hotels SnowVillage & Taatsin seita) and Jemes Sport (in Yllasjarvi). An urban center set amongst the great Arctic wilderness, Rovaniemi serves as the capital of Lapland province.
You'll explore the less-touristy side of things at Auttikongas and Rovaniemi Church. Go for a jaunt from Rovaniemi to Ranua to see Ranua Zoo about 1 hour away. There's lots more to do: don't miss a visit to Santa Claus Village, engage your brain at Science Centre Pilke, see Santa Claus Office, and explore the world behind art at Korundi House of Culture.
