Explore Jyvaskyla's surroundings by going to Petajavesi Old Church (in Petajavesi) and Pyha-Hakki National Park (in Saarijarvi). There's much more to do: see the interesting displays at The Alvar Aalto Museum, take an in-depth tour of Toivolan Vanha Piha, walk around Maki-Matin perhepuisto, and brush up on your military savvy at Finnish Air Force Museum.
