Jyväskylä is a city and municipality in Finland and in the western part of the Finnish Lakeland. Venture out of the city with trips to Petajavesi Old Church (in Petajavesi) and Himos Ski Resort (in Jamsa). There's lots more to do: examine the collection at The Alvar Aalto Museum, brush up on your military savvy at Finnish Air Force Museum, get engrossed in the history at Keski-Suomen museo (Museum of Central Finland), and admire the landmark architecture of Kuokkalan kartano.

For photos, other places to visit, maps, and tourist information, go to the Jyvaskyla route planner.

Berlin, Germany to Jyvaskyla is an approximately 14.5-hour combination of flight and car. You can also drive. You'll lose 1 hour traveling from Berlin to Jyvaskyla due to the time zone difference.
