Official Hometown of Santa Claus

An urban center set amongst the great Arctic wilderness, Rovaniemi serves as the capital of Lapland province.
Kick off your visit on the 24th (Wed): see exotic creatures in open habitats at a safari tour and then fly down the slopes at Ounasvaaran Hiihtokeskus Oy. Keep things going the next day: don't miss a visit to Santa Claus Village, see Santa Claus Office, then look for gifts at LAURI Handicraft Shop & Atelier, then take an in-depth tour of Arktikum, and finally don't miss a visit to Lordi's Square.

Take a break from Levi with a short trip to Lapland Hotels SnowVillage in Kittila, about 46 minutes away. Spend the 26th (Fri) on two wheels at Levi Ski Resort. Next up on the itinerary: take a memorable tour with Lapland Safaris Levi, identify plant and animal life at Santa"s Cottage & Pet Farm, fly down the slopes at Yllas Ski Resort, and bet on your favorite at Icekarting Levi.
