Official Hometown of Santa Claus

An urban center set amongst the great Arctic wilderness, Rovaniemi serves as the capital of Lapland province.
Kick off your visit on the 5th (Tue): see the interesting displays at Christmas House Santa, then see Santa Claus Office, and then make a trip to Santa Claus Village. Get ready for a full day of sightseeing on the 6th (Wed): look for gifts at LAURI Handicraft Shop & Atelier, look for all kinds of wild species at Wildlife Areas, then take an in-depth tour of Arktikum, and finally make a trip to Lordi's Square.

Explore Levi's surroundings by going to Safaris (in Akaslompolo) and Lapland Hotels SnowVillage (in Kittila). Spend the 8th (Fri) on two wheels at Levi Ski Resort. Next up on the itinerary: join the crowd at Icekarting Levi, stop by Elan Ski Shop & Rental, tour the pleasant surroundings at Yllas Ski Resort, and identify plant and animal life at Santa"s Cottage & Pet Farm.
