Inari

Inari is Finland's largest, most sparsely populated municipality, with four official languages, more than any other in the country. Start off your visit on the 16th (Wed): examine the collection at Siida - Sami Museum and Nature Center and then pause for some serene contemplation at Pielpajarvi Wilderness Church.

Official Hometown of Santa Claus
An urban center set amongst the great Arctic wilderness, Rovaniemi serves as the capital of Lapland province.Step out of Rovaniemi to go to Ranua and see Ranua Zoo, which is approximately 1 hour away. There's much more to do: get engrossed in the history at Arktikum, don't miss a visit to Santa Claus Village, take in the architecture and atmosphere at Rovaniemi Church, and get in on the family fun at SantaPark - the Home Cavern of Santa Claus.
