Inari is Finland's largest, most sparsely populated municipality, with four official languages, more than any other in the country. Start off your visit on the 16th (Wed): examine the collection at Siida - Sami Museum and Nature Center and then pause for some serene contemplation at Pielpajarvi Wilderness Church.

Turku to Inari is an approximately 5-hour flight. You can also drive; or do a combination of train and bus. Traveling from Turku in June, expect nights in Inari to be about the same, around 7°C, while days are a bit cooler, around 16°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 16th (Wed) to allow enough time to drive to Levi.

Levi

Finland's largest and most popular ski resort, the fell of Levi provides excellent slopes and lively nightlife in an enchanting setting.
On the 17th (Thu), grab your bike and head to Levi Ski Resort.

Traveling by car from Inari to Levi takes 4 hours. Alternatively, you can take a bus; or take a bus. Expect a daytime high around 17°C in June, and nighttime lows around 7°C. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 17th (Thu) to allow time to drive to Rovaniemi.

Rovaniemi

Official Hometown of Santa Claus

An urban center set amongst the great Arctic wilderness, Rovaniemi serves as the capital of Lapland province.
Step out of Rovaniemi to go to Ranua and see Ranua Zoo, which is approximately 1 hour away. There's much more to do: take an in-depth tour of Arktikum, get in on the family fun at SantaPark - the Home Cavern of Santa Claus, pause for some serene contemplation at Rovaniemi Church, and make a trip to Lordi's Square.

You can drive from Levi to Rovaniemi in 2.5 hours. Alternatively, you can take a bus. In June, plan for daily highs up to 18°C, and evening lows to 9°C. Finish up your sightseeing early on the 20th (Sun) so you can catch the flight back home.
