An urban center set amongst the great Arctic wilderness, Rovaniemi serves as the capital of Lapland province.
Start off your visit on the 25th (Mon): don't miss a visit to Santa Claus Village. Keep things going the next day: see Santa Claus Office, then see exotic creatures in open habitats at a safari tour, then get engrossed in the history at Arktikum, and finally make a trip to Lordi's Square.

On the 27th (Wed), surround yourself with nature on a nature and wildlife tour, then find something for the whole family at Angry Birds Activity Park, and then get a taste of life in the country at Saariselka Reindeer Farm.
