An urban center set amongst the great Arctic wilderness, Rovaniemi serves as the capital of Lapland province.
Start off your visit on the 3rd (Fri): pause for some serene contemplation at Rovaniemi Church, then identify plant and animal life at Wildlife Areas, then get engrossed in the history at Arktikum, and finally get curious at Pilke Science Centre. On the 4th (Sat), you'll have a packed day of sightseeing: don't miss a visit to Santa Claus Village, make a trip to Santa Claus Office, and then find something for the whole family at SantaPark - the Home Cavern of Santa Claus.
