Jyvaskyla

Jyväskylä is a city and municipality in Finland and in the western part of the Finnish Lakeland. Escape the urban bustle at Himos Ski Resort and Laajis. The Alvar Aalto Museum and Car Museum Wanhat Wehkeet are good opportunities to explore the local culture. Explore Jyvaskyla's surroundings by going to Petajavesi Old Church (in Petajavesi) and Church of Keuruu (in Keuruu). There's still lots to do: admire the masterpieces at Jyvaskyla Art Museum, view the masterpieces at Kuokkalan kartano, take in the pleasant sights at Tourujoen Luontopolku, and learn more about the world around you at Natural History Museum of Central Finland.

For traveler tips, other places to visit, and tourist information, refer to the Jyvaskyla online sightseeing planner.
