Finland's largest and most populated metropolis, the maritime town of Helsinki boasts varied architecture, a lively cafe culture, and plethora of picturesque natural delights.
Satisfy your inner culture vulture at Sea Fortress Suomenlinna and Temppeliaukio Church. For shopping fun, head to Market Square Kauppatori or Kamppi Shopping Centre. Step out of Helsinki with an excursion to Nuuksio National Park in Espoo--about 48 minutes away. There's much more to do: visit Katajanokka, take in the spiritual surroundings of Kamppi Chapel of Silence, stop by Artisaani, and wander the streets of Ullanlinna.
