Finland's largest and most populated metropolis, the maritime town of Helsinki boasts varied architecture, a lively cafe culture, and plethora of picturesque natural delights.
On the 28th (Tue), get outside with Haagan Alppiruusupuisto, steep yourself in history at The Aalto House, then head off the coast to Pihlajasaari Recreational Park, and finally step off the mainland to explore Vallisaari. Here are some ideas for day two: admire the masterpieces at Sinebrychoff Art Museum, admire the striking features of Johannes Church, then kick back and relax at Hietaranta Beach, and finally walk around Kaisaniemi Botanic Garden.
