Finland's largest and most populated metropolis, the maritime town of Helsinki boasts varied architecture, a lively cafe culture, and plethora of picturesque natural delights.
Kids will enjoy Sea Fortress Suomenlinna and Senate Square. There's much more to do: admire the landmark architecture of Temppeliaukio Church, explore the world behind art at Museum of Contemporary Art Kiasma, get to know the fascinating history of The Esplanadi Park, and take in the spiritual surroundings of Uspenskin Cathedral (Uspenskin Katedraali).

An urban center set amongst the great Arctic wilderness, Rovaniemi serves as the capital of Lapland province.
Kick off your visit on the 31st (Fri): don't miss a visit to Santa Claus Village, don't miss a visit to Santa Claus Office, and then let the kids burn off some steam at Angry Birds Park. On the 1st (Sat), you'll have a packed day of sightseeing: take an in-depth tour of Arktikum.
