Daughter of the Baltic

Finland's largest and most populated metropolis, the maritime town of Helsinki boasts varied architecture, a lively cafe culture, and plethora of picturesque natural delights.
Eschew the tourist crowds and head to Seurasaari Island and Open-Air Museum and Hakaniemi Market. Head to Brunberg Candy Factory Shop and TeeMaa Tea Housefor some retail therapy. Venture out of the city with trips to Sipoonkorven Kansallispuisto (in Vantaa) and Porvoo (Cathedral of Porvoo & Porvoo Old Town). There's much more to do: steep yourself in history at Sea Fortress Suomenlinna, find your balance on the water with some of the best stand-up paddleboarding in the area, surround yourself with nature on a nature and wildlife tour, and stop by Katajanokka.
