Official Hometown of Santa Claus

An urban center set amongst the great Arctic wilderness, Rovaniemi serves as the capital of Lapland province.
Start off your visit on the 15th (Wed): engage your brain at Pilke Science Centre, then identify plant and animal life at Wildlife Areas, then see Santa Claus Office, and finally don't miss a visit to Santa Claus Village. Here are some ideas for day two: take in the architecture and atmosphere at Rovaniemi Church, get engrossed in the history at Arktikum, and then find something for the whole family at SantaPark - the Home Cavern of Santa Claus.
