Official Hometown of Santa Claus

An urban center set amongst the great Arctic wilderness, Rovaniemi serves as the capital of Lapland province.
Change things up with a short trip to Ranua Zoo in Ranua (about 1 hour away). There's lots more to do: get in on the family fun at SantaPark - the Home Cavern of Santa Claus, get engrossed in the history at Arktikum, make a trip to Lordi's Square, and stroll through Napapiirin Porofarmi.
