Kick off your visit on the 9th (Thu): don't miss a visit to Lapland Hotels SnowVillage, then bet on your favorite at Icekarting Levi, and then fly down the slopes at Kids' Land. On the 10th (Fri), you'll have a packed day of sightseeing: explore the landscape on two wheels at Levi Ski Resort.

Official Hometown of Santa Claus

An urban center set amongst the great Arctic wilderness, Rovaniemi serves as the capital of Lapland province.
When in Rovaniemi, make a side trip to see Ranua Zoo in Ranua, approximately Ranua away. There's much more to do: get in on the family fun at SantaPark - the Home Cavern of Santa Claus, see Santa Claus Office, get curious at Pilke Science Centre, and make a trip to Santa Claus Village.

You can drive from Levi to Rovaniemi in 2.5 hours. Alternatively, you can take a bus. Expect a daytime high around 22°F in December, and nighttime lows around 11°F. On the 13th (Mon), wrap the sightseeing up by early afternoon so you can travel back home.
