Finland's largest and most popular ski resort, the fell of Levi provides excellent slopes and lively nightlife in an enchanting setting.

Take a break from Levi with a short trip to Lapland Hotels SnowVillage in Kittila, about 46 minutes away. Spend the 28th (Mon) on two wheels at Levi Ski Resort. There's lots more to do: hit the slopes at Kids' Land, stop by Inghams Mini Husky Experience, bet on your favorite at Icekarting Levi, and look for gifts at Elan Ski Shop & Rental.

Paris, France to Levi is an approximately 15-hour combination of flight and car. You can also drive. Traveling from Paris to Levi, you'll lose 1 hour due to the time zone difference. In December, Levi is much colder than Paris - with highs of -6°C and lows of -15°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 30th (Wed) to allow enough time to drive to Rovaniemi.

An urban center set amongst the great Arctic wilderness, Rovaniemi serves as the capital of Lapland province.

On the 31st (Thu), take an in-depth tour of Arktikum, then examine the collection at Christmas House Santa, then see Santa Claus Office, and finally make a trip to Santa Claus Village. On the next day, don't miss a visit to Lordi's Square and then see exotic creatures in open habitats at a safari tour.

Traveling by car from Levi to Rovaniemi takes 2.5 hours. Alternatively, you can take a bus. Expect a daytime high around -6°C in December, and nighttime lows around -13°C. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 1st (Fri) early enough to travel back home.
