An urban center set amongst the great Arctic wilderness, Rovaniemi serves as the capital of Lapland province.
Kick off your visit on the 26th (Sun): get engrossed in the history at Arktikum, then get in on the family fun at SantaPark - the Home Cavern of Santa Claus, and then don't miss a visit to Lordi's Square. On the 27th (Mon), you'll have a packed day of sightseeing: learn about wildlife with up-close encounters at Ranua Zoo, see the interesting displays at Christmas House Santa, and then take in the architecture and atmosphere at Rovaniemi Church.
