An urban center set amongst the great Arctic wilderness, Rovaniemi serves as the capital of Lapland province.
On the 20th (Thu), look for all kinds of wild species at Wildlife Areas and then make a trip to Lordi's Square. On the 21st (Fri), you'll have a packed day of sightseeing: get engrossed in the history at Arktikum, see Santa Claus Office, and then don't miss a visit to Santa Claus Village.
