Inari

Inari is Finland's largest, most sparsely populated municipality, with four official languages, more than any other in the country. Kick off your visit on the 1st (Mon): examine the collection at Siida - Sami Museum and Nature Center. Get ready for a full day of sightseeing on the 2nd (Tue): trek along Juutua Nature Trail, then experience rural life at Tuula's Reindeer, then surround yourself with nature on a nature and wildlife tour, and finally take in the architecture and atmosphere at Pielpajarvi Wilderness Church.

Helsinki to Inari is an approximately 4.5-hour flight. You can also drive; or do a combination of train and bus. Official Hometown of Santa Claus

An urban center set amongst the great Arctic wilderness, Rovaniemi serves as the capital of Lapland province.
Start off your visit on the 5th (Fri): see Santa Claus Office, don't miss a visit to Santa Claus Village, then examine the collection at Christmas House Santa, and finally take an in-depth tour of Arktikum.
