Venture out of the city with trips to Ankkapurha Culture Park (in Anjala), Salpa Line Museum (in Miehikkala) and Kouvola (Niivermaki Nature Conservation Area, Mielakka Ski Center, &more). There's lots more to do: take in the architecture and atmosphere at Pyhtaa Church of Saint Henry, pause for some photo ops at Kotka Sculpture Promenade, take a stroll through Linden Esplanade, and head off the coast to Varissaari - Fort Elisabeth.
