Inari is Finland's largest, most sparsely populated municipality, with four official languages, more than any other in the country. Get some cultural insight at Siida and Saint Tryphon Pechenga Orthodox Church. Visit Pielpajarvi Wilderness Church and Saariselka S:t Paulus Chapel for their historical value. Visiting Ranua Zoo and Ounasvaaran Hiihtokeskus Oy will get you outdoors. Head to Sampokeskus and Forestry Museum of Laplandfor some retail therapy. Explore Rovaniemi's surroundings by going to Pyhatunturi (in Pelkosenniemi), Kemi (Kemi Church & Sampo Icebreaker) and Luosto (Amethyst Mine Lapland & Kopara Reindeer Park).
