You'll get in some beach time at Bellevue Beach and Hietaranta Beach. Step out of the city life by going to Beach Mansikkalahti and Arboretum Mustila. Explore Helsinki's surroundings by going to Sibelius Hall (in Lahti), Kotka (Santalahti Nature Trail & Riverside Park) and Tulliniemi Nature Path (in Hanko). Inari is Finland's largest, most sparsely populated municipality, with four official languages, more than any other in the country. Satisfy your inner culture vulture at Siida - Sami Museum and Nature Center and Skolt Sami Heritage House. Get in touch with nature at Urho Kekkonen National Park and Nature & Wildlife Tours. Get out of town with these interesting Inari side-trips: Saariselka (Angry Birds Activity Park & Ruijanpolku Trail) and Gold Prospector Museum (in Tankavaara). Finland's largest and most popular ski resort, the fell of Levi provides excellent slopes and lively nightlife in an enchanting setting.
Eschew the tourist crowds and head to Levi Ski Resort and Samiland. Do your shopping at LUVATTUMAA - Levi Ice Gallery and Museum - Gallery Alariesto. Explore the numerous day-trip ideas around Levi: Akaslompolo (Akaslompolo Sportshop, Seven Fells Up, &more), Sarestoniemi Museum (in Kaukonen) and Muonio (Pallas-Yllastunturi National Park, Keimiotunturi Fell, &more). An urban center set amongst the great Arctic wilderness, Rovaniemi serves as the capital of Lapland province.
Step out of the city life by going to Ranua Zoo and Safaris. Shop till you drop at Kauppakeskus Sampokeskus and Arctic Circle Mall. Change things up with these side-trips from Rovaniemi: Pyhatunturi (in Pelkosenniemi), Luosto (Amethyst Mine Lapland & Kopara Reindeer Park) and Kemi (Kemi Church & Sampo Icebreaker).
