Finland's largest and most populated metropolis, the maritime town of Helsinki boasts varied architecture, a lively cafe culture, and plethora of picturesque natural delights.
Helsinki is known for historic sites, museums, and shopping. Your trip includes some of its best attractions: steep yourself in history at Sea Fortress Suomenlinna, take in the spiritual surroundings of Uspenskin Cathedral (Uspenskin Katedraali), take in the architecture and atmosphere at Temppeliaukio Church, and admire the landmark architecture of Helsinki Central Railway Station.

Official Hometown of Santa Claus

An urban center set amongst the great Arctic wilderness, Rovaniemi serves as the capital of Lapland province.
Kick off your visit on the 23rd (Thu): see Santa Claus Office, don't miss a visit to Santa Claus Village, and then stop by LAURI Handicraft Shop & Atelier. On the next day, tour the pleasant surroundings at Napapiirin Porofarmi, take an in-depth tour of Arktikum, and then let the kids burn off some steam at Angry Birds Park.
