Finland's largest and most populated metropolis, the maritime town of Helsinki boasts varied architecture, a lively cafe culture, and plethora of picturesque natural delights.
Helsinki is known for historic sites, museums, and shopping. Your trip includes some of its best attractions: browse the exhibits of Sea Fortress Suomenlinna, don't miss a visit to Senate Square, take in the spiritual surroundings of Uspenskin Cathedral (Uspenskin Katedraali), and take in the architecture and atmosphere at Helsinki Cathedral.

Official Hometown of Santa Claus

An urban center set amongst the great Arctic wilderness, Rovaniemi serves as the capital of Lapland province.
Start off your visit on the 9th (Thu): make a trip to Santa Claus Village, see Santa Claus Office, and then let little ones run wild at Angry Birds Park. Keep things going the next day: get engrossed in the history at Arktikum and then stop by LAURI Handicraft Shop & Atelier.
