Finland's largest and most populated metropolis, the maritime town of Helsinki boasts varied architecture, a lively cafe culture, and plethora of picturesque natural delights.
Satisfy your inner culture vulture at Turku Castle and Sea Fortress Suomenlinna. Explore hidden gems such as Katajanokka and The Aalto House. Take a break from Helsinki with a short trip to Turku Cathedral in Turku, about 1h 50 min away. There's much more to do: contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Temppeliaukio Church, take in the architecture and atmosphere at Helsinki Cathedral, relax and rejuvenate at some of the top local wellness centers, and admire the masterpieces at Kansallisgalleria.

Madrid, Spain to Helsinki is an approximately 7.5-hour flight. You can also drive; or do a combination of car and ferry.
