Finland's largest and most populated metropolis, the maritime town of Helsinki boasts varied architecture, a lively cafe culture, and plethora of picturesque natural delights.
Do some cultural sightseeing at Turku Castle and The Aalto House. You'll explore the less-touristy side of things at Katajanokka and Johannes Church. Get out of town with these interesting Helsinki side-trips: Turku (Bike Rental - by Carfield & Turku Cathedral). And it doesn't end there: relax and rejuvenate at some of the top local wellness centers, take in the views from Rakkauden Silta, explore the world behind art at Kansallisgalleria, and contemplate the long history of Seurasaari Island and Open-Air Museum.

Start off your visit on the 9th (Thu): don't miss a visit to Lapland Hotels SnowVillage and then bet on your favorite at Icekarting Levi. Get ready for a full day of sightseeing on the 10th (Fri): kick your exploration up a notch at Levi Ski Resort.

Traveling by flight from Helsinki to Levi takes 3 hours. Alternatively, you can drive; or do a combination of train and bus. Prepare for slightly colder weather when traveling from Helsinki in December: high temperatures in Levi hover around -6°C and lows are around -15°C.
