Finland's largest and most populated metropolis, the maritime town of Helsinki boasts varied architecture, a lively cafe culture, and plethora of picturesque natural delights.
Step out of Helsinki to go to Espoo and see Nuuksio National Park, which is approximately 48 minutes away. There's lots more to do: learn about all things military at Sea Fortress Suomenlinna, take in the architecture and atmosphere at Helsinki Cathedral, get engrossed in the history at Seurasaari Island and Open-Air Museum, and admire the landmark architecture of Helsinki Central Railway Station.

Amsterdam, The Netherlands to Helsinki is an approximately 5.5-hour flight. You can also drive; or do a combination of train, bus, and ferry. You'll lose 1 hour traveling from Amsterdam to Helsinki due to the time zone difference. Turku

Sitting at the mouth of the Aura River, Turku is one of Finland's quaintest and most historically rich towns.
Start off your visit on the 10th (Fri): trek along Bike Rental - by Carfield, then step into the grandiose world of Turku Castle, then deepen your understanding at Turku Cathedral, and finally let little ones run wild at Adventure Park.
