Tampere is known for museums, historic sites, and fun & games. Riga, Latvia to Tampere is an approximately 5.5-hour flight. You can also do a combination of car and ferry; or do a combination of bus, ferry, and train. Prepare for little chillier weather when traveling from Riga in May: high temperatures in Tampere hover around 17°C and lows are around 4°C. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 13th (Wed) early enough to travel to Levi.

Finland's largest and most popular ski resort, the fell of Levi provides excellent slopes and lively nightlife in an enchanting setting.
On the 14th (Thu), view the masterpieces at LUVATTUMAA - Levi Ice Gallery, grab your bike and head to Levi Ski Resort, and then look for all kinds of wild species at Santa"s Cottage & Pet Farm.

You can fly from Tampere to Levi in 5 hours. Alternatively, you can do a combination of train and bus; or drive. Traveling from Tampere in May, things will get slightly colder in Levi: highs are around 11°C and lows about 1°C. Finish up your sightseeing early on the 14th (Thu) so you can go by car to Rovaniemi.

An urban center set amongst the great Arctic wilderness, Rovaniemi serves as the capital of Lapland province.
Rovaniemi is known for wildlife, museums, and fun & games.
