Finland's third largest city, Tampere boasts an array of cultural offerings and a lively music scene.
Appreciate the collections at Museo Militaria and Hameenlinna Art Museum. Eschew the tourist crowds and head to Tampereen Tuomiokirkko and The Car Museum of Vehoniemi (Vehoniemen automuseo). Step out of Tampere to go to Hameenlinna and see Birthplace of Jean Sibelius, which is approximately 1h 5 min away.
