Finland's largest and most popular ski resort, the fell of Levi provides excellent slopes and lively nightlife in an enchanting setting.
You'll find plenty of places to visit near Levi: Lapland Hotels SnowVillage (in Kittila) and Safartica Yllas (in Yllasjarvi). Spend the 21st (Tue) on two wheels at Levi Ski Resort. It doesn't end there: join the crowd at Icekarting Levi and stop by Elan Ski Shop & Rental.

Helsinki to Levi is an approximately 3-hour flight. You can also drive; or do a combination of train and bus. Traveling from Helsinki in December, expect Levi to be a bit cooler, temps between -6°C and -15°C. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 22nd (Wed) early enough to drive to Rovaniemi.

Official Hometown of Santa Claus

An urban center set amongst the great Arctic wilderness, Rovaniemi serves as the capital of Lapland province.
Change things up with a short trip to Ranua Zoo in Ranua (about 1 hour away). The adventure continues: find something for the whole family at SantaPark - the Home Cavern of Santa Claus, don't miss a visit to Santa Claus Village, take an in-depth tour of Arktikum, and admire all the interesting features of Napapiirin Porofarmi.

Traveling by car from Levi to Rovaniemi takes 2.5 hours. Alternatively, you can take a bus. In December in Rovaniemi, expect temperatures between -6°C during the day and -13°C at night. Cap off your sightseeing on the 26th (Sun) early enough to catch the flight back home.
