Finland's largest and most popular ski resort, the fell of Levi provides excellent slopes and lively nightlife in an enchanting setting.
Explore Levi's surroundings by going to Seven Fells Up (in Akaslompolo) and Lapland Hotels SnowVillage (in Kittila). Spend the 6th (Sun) on two wheels at Levi Ski Resort. There's more to do: bet on your favorite at Icekarting Levi and identify plant and animal life at Lapland Safaris Levi.

Paris, France to Levi is an approximately 7-hour flight. You can also drive; or do a combination of car and train. The time zone changes from Central European Standard Time to Eastern European Standard Time, which is usually a 1 hour difference. Outdoor pursuits--ranging from cross-country skiing and snowmobiling to reindeer safaris and chasing Northern Lights--draw the largest number of tourists to Saariselka.
Start off your visit on the 8th (Tue): gear up at Saariselka Ski & Sport Resort and then get a dose of the wild on a nature and wildlife tour. On your second day here, hike along Urho Kekkonen National Park.

You can drive from Levi to Saariselka in 3.5 hours. Alternatively, you can take a bus. February in Saariselka sees daily highs of -6°C and lows of -15°C at night. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 9th (Wed) early enough to drive to Rovaniemi.

An urban center set amongst the great Arctic wilderness, Rovaniemi serves as the capital of Lapland province.
On the 10th (Thu), take an in-depth tour of Arktikum, see Santa Claus Office, and then don't miss a visit to Santa Claus Village. Keep things going the next day: see exotic creatures in open habitats at a safari tour.
