Finland's largest and most popular ski resort, the fell of Levi provides excellent slopes and lively nightlife in an enchanting setting.
Go for a jaunt from Levi to Kittila to see Lapland Hotels SnowVillage about 46 minutes away. Spend the 18th (Tue) on two wheels at Levi Ski Resort. There's more to do: join the crowd at Icekarting Levi and look for all kinds of wild species at Wildlife Areas.

Official Hometown of Santa Claus

An urban center set amongst the great Arctic wilderness, Rovaniemi serves as the capital of Lapland province.
Start off your visit on the 20th (Thu): see exotic creatures in open habitats at a safari tour and then see Santa Claus Office. Get ready for a full day of sightseeing on the next day: find something for the whole family at SantaPark - the Home Cavern of Santa Claus and then make a trip to Santa Claus Village.

Traveling by car from Levi to Rovaniemi takes 2.5 hours. Alternatively, you can take a bus. Plan for somewhat warmer nights when traveling from Levi in January since evenings lows in Rovaniemi dip to 6°F.
