Finland's largest and most popular ski resort, the fell of Levi provides excellent slopes and lively nightlife in an enchanting setting.
Change things up with these side-trips from Levi: Safaris (in Akaslompolo) and Lapland Hotels SnowVillage (in Kittila). Spend the 27th (Wed) on two wheels at Levi Ski Resort. There's still lots to do: join the crowd at Icekarting Levi, view the masterpieces at LUVATTUMAA - Levi Ice Gallery, look for all kinds of wild species at Santa"s Cottage & Pet Farm, and hit the slopes at Yllas Ski Resort.

Outdoor pursuits--ranging from cross-country skiing and snowmobiling to reindeer safaris and chasing Northern Lights--draw the largest number of tourists to Saariselka.
Kick off your visit on the 28th (Thu): get a dose of the wild on a nature and wildlife tour, then stop by Hippupuoti Gift Shop, and then examine the collection at Siida - Sami Museum and Nature Center. Keep things going the next day: hit the slopes at Saariselka Ski & Sport Resort and then pause for some serene contemplation at Saariselka S:t Paulus Chapel.

An urban center set amongst the great Arctic wilderness, Rovaniemi serves as the capital of Lapland province.
Start off your visit on the 30th (Sat): look for gifts at Marttiini Store Old Factory, then see exotic creatures in open habitats at a safari tour, then see Santa Claus Office, and finally make a trip to Santa Claus Village. Get ready for a full day of sightseeing on the 31st (Sun): engage your brain at Pilke Science Centre, get engrossed in the history at Arktikum, and then don't miss a visit to Lordi's Square.
