Finland's largest and most popular ski resort, the fell of Levi provides excellent slopes and lively nightlife in an enchanting setting.
On the 3rd (Sun), make a trip to Giewont Husky Adventures. On the 4th (Mon), you'll have a packed day of sightseeing: grab your bike and head to Levi Ski Resort.

Dusseldorf, Germany to Levi is an approximately 9.5-hour combination of flight and car. You can also drive. Due to the time zone difference, you'll lose 1 hour traveling from Dusseldorf to Levi. Outdoor pursuits--ranging from cross-country skiing and snowmobiling to reindeer safaris and chasing Northern Lights--draw the largest number of tourists to Saariselka.
Start off your visit on the 5th (Tue): see the interesting displays at Gold Prospector Museum and then explore the striking landscape of Urho Kekkonen National Park. Keep things going the next day: get outside with Outdoor Activities, then see the interesting displays at Siida - Sami Museum and Nature Center, and then stroll through Juutua Nature Trail.

Traveling by car from Levi to Saariselka takes 3.5 hours. Alternatively, you can take a bus. In July in Saariselka, expect temperatures between 20°C during the day and 11°C at night. Finish your sightseeing early on the 6th (Wed) so you can drive to Rovaniemi.

Rovaniemi

An urban center set amongst the great Arctic wilderness, Rovaniemi serves as the capital of Lapland province.
Take a break from Rovaniemi with a short trip to Ranua Zoo in Ranua, about 1 hour away. There's lots more to do: take an in-depth tour of Arktikum, get curious at Science Centre Pilke, explore the fascinating underground world of Syvasenvaara Fell, and examine the collection at Christmas House Santa.
