Jyväskylä is a city and municipality in Finland and in the western part of the Finnish Lakeland. Venture out of the city with trips to Petajavesi Old Church (in Petajavesi), Keuruu (Old Church of Keuruu & Church of Keuruu) and Pyha-Hakki National Park (in Saarijarvi). Next up on the itinerary: see the interesting displays at The Alvar Aalto Museum, brush up on your military savvy at Finnish Air Force Museum, fly down the slopes at Himos Ski Resort, and take in the pleasant sights at Tourujoen Luontopolku.
