Jyvaskyla

— 7 nights
Jyväskylä is a city and municipality in Finland and in the western part of the Finnish Lakeland. Venture out of the city with trips to Korpilahti (Oravivuori Triangulation Tower & Hoyry Galleria), Jamsa (Vitikkala Manor & Himos Ski Resort) and Petajavesi Old Church (in Petajavesi). There's lots more to do: examine the collection at The Alvar Aalto Museum, admire the landmark architecture of Kuokkalan kartano, go for a walk through Tourujoen Luontopolku, and kick your exploration up a notch at Laajis.

For where to stay, photos, ratings, and other tourist information, you can read our Jyvaskyla travel itinerary planner.

Akureyri, Iceland to Jyvaskyla is an approximately 17-hour combination of flight and car. You can also drive. You'll lose 2 hours traveling from Akureyri to Jyvaskyla due to the time zone difference.
