Finland's largest and most populated metropolis, the maritime town of Helsinki boasts varied architecture, a lively cafe culture, and plethora of picturesque natural delights.
Helsinki is known for historic sites, shopping, and museums. On the 12th (Sat), get engrossed in the history at Arktikum, then examine the collection at Santa's House of Snowmobiles, then see Santa Claus Office, and finally don't miss a visit to Santa Claus Village.

Traveling by flight from Helsinki to Rovaniemi takes 4.5 hours. Alternatively, you can take a train; or drive. Prepare for slightly colder weather when traveling from Helsinki in December: high temperatures in Rovaniemi hover around 22°F and lows are around 11°F. Finish up your sightseeing early on the 12th (Sat) so you can go by car to Levi.

Finland's largest and most popular ski resort, the fell of Levi provides excellent slopes and lively nightlife in an enchanting setting.
Kick off your visit on the 13th (Sun): gear up at Levi Ski Resort. On your second day here, make a trip to Giewont Husky Adventures, then join the crowd at Icekarting Levi, then look for gifts at Elan Ski Shop & Rental, and finally hit the slopes at Kids' Land.
