Finland's largest and most populated metropolis, the maritime town of Helsinki boasts varied architecture, a lively cafe culture, and plethora of picturesque natural delights.
On the 7th (Mon), take in the architecture and atmosphere at Helsinki Cathedral, admire the landmark architecture of Temppeliaukio Church, and then contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Kamppi Chapel of Silence. On the 8th (Tue), you'll have a packed day of sightseeing: get engrossed in the history at Seurasaari Island and Open-Air Museum, then step into the grandiose world of Sea Fortress Suomenlinna, then explore the world behind art at Kansallisgalleria, and finally get engrossed in the history at The National Museum of Finland.

Milan, Italy to Helsinki is an approximately 6-hour flight. You can also drive; or do a combination of train, bus, and ferry. The time zone changes from Central European Standard Time (CET) to Eastern European Standard Time (EET), which is usually a 1 hour difference. Sitting at the mouth of the Aura River, Turku is one of Finland's quaintest and most historically rich towns.
Start off your visit on the 9th (Wed): hike along Bike Rental - by Carfield, then step into the grandiose world of Turku Castle, then get advice or help at Turku City Library, and finally take in the spiritual surroundings of Turku Cathedral.

Rovaniemi

Official Hometown of Santa Claus

An urban center set amongst the great Arctic wilderness, Rovaniemi serves as the capital of Lapland province.
Start off your visit on the 10th (Thu): surround yourself with nature on a nature and wildlife tour and then don't miss a visit to Santa Claus Village. Get ready for a full day of sightseeing on the next day: learn about wildlife with up-close encounters at Ranua Zoo and then get engrossed in the history at Arktikum.

Fly from Turku to Rovaniemi in 4.5 hours. Alternatively, you can take a train; or drive. In March, Rovaniemi is little chillier than Turku - with highs of -1°C and lows of -9°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 11th (Fri) to allow enough time to drive to Levi.

Levi

Finland's largest and most popular ski resort, the fell of Levi provides excellent slopes and lively nightlife in an enchanting setting.
Eschew the tourist crowds and head to Icekarting Levi and Nature & Wildlife Tours. Take a break from Levi with a short trip to Lapland Hotels SnowVillage in Kittila, about 46 minutes away. Spend the 12th (Sat) on two wheels at Levi Ski Resort.
