An urban center set amongst the great Arctic wilderness, Rovaniemi serves as the capital of Lapland province.
Start off your visit on the 6th (Fri): take an in-depth tour of Arktikum, Head underground at Syvasenvaara Fell, then make a trip to Santa Claus Office, and finally don't miss a visit to Santa Claus Village. On the 7th (Sat), you'll have a packed day of sightseeing: look for gifts at LAURI Handicraft Shop & Atelier and then hit the slopes at Ski Resort Ritavalkea.
