Finland's largest and most populated metropolis, the maritime town of Helsinki boasts varied architecture, a lively cafe culture, and plethora of picturesque natural delights.
You'll explore and learn at Sea Fortress Suomenlinna and Seurasaari Island and Open-Air Museum. Deepen your sense of the past at sights like Rock Church and Helsinki Cathedral. Change things up with a short trip to Nuuksio National Park in Espoo (about 46 minutes away). Next up on the itinerary: take in the spiritual surroundings of Uspenskin Cathedral (Uspenskin Katedraali), identify plant and animal life at Laajalahti Nature Reserve, get to know the fascinating history of The Esplanadi Park, and don't miss a visit to Senate Square.
