Finland's largest and most populated metropolis, the maritime town of Helsinki boasts varied architecture, a lively cafe culture, and plethora of picturesque natural delights.

Finland's largest and most popular ski resort, the fell of Levi provides excellent slopes and lively nightlife in an enchanting setting.
Kids will enjoy Levi Ski Resort and Icekarting Levi. Go for a jaunt from Levi to Akaslompolo to see Seven Fells Up about 1h 5 min away. And it doesn't end there: tour the pleasant surroundings at Yllas Ski Resort, take an exotic tour of Lapland Safaris Levi, and look for gifts at Elan Ski Shop & Rental.

Fly from Helsinki to Levi in 3 hours. Alternatively, you can drive; or do a combination of train and bus. Traveling from Helsinki in February, things will get a bit cooler in Levi: highs are around -5°C and lows about -12°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 17th (Thu) to allow enough time to drive to Rovaniemi.

Official Hometown of Santa Claus

An urban center set amongst the great Arctic wilderness, Rovaniemi serves as the capital of Lapland province.
Kick off your visit on the 18th (Fri): get to know the resident critters at Ranua Zoo and then look for gifts at LAURI Handicraft Shop & Atelier. Here are some ideas for day two: get engrossed in the history at Arktikum, then see Santa Claus Office, and then make a trip to Santa Claus Village.
