Finland's largest and most populated metropolis, the maritime town of Helsinki boasts varied architecture, a lively cafe culture, and plethora of picturesque natural delights.
Start off your visit on the 12th (Fri): hunt for treasures at Hakaniemi Market, glide peacefully along the water with some of the best stand-up paddleboarding in the area, and then don't miss a visit to Porvoo Old Town. Start off your visit on the 16th (Tue): join the crowd at Icekarting Levi, then grab your bike and head to Levi Ski Resort, and then identify plant and animal life at Santa"s Cottage & Pet Farm.

Getting from Tampere to Levi by combination of train and flight takes about 5.5 hours. Other options: do a combination of train and bus; or drive. When traveling from Tampere in June, plan for slightly colder days in Levi, with highs around 59°F, while nights are about the same with lows around 44°F. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 16th (Tue) early enough to drive to Ranua.
