Finland's largest and most populated metropolis, the maritime town of Helsinki boasts varied architecture, a lively cafe culture, and plethora of picturesque natural delights.
Head to Brunberg Candy Factory Shop and Hakaniemi Marketfor some retail therapy. Popular historic sites such as The Aalto House and Mannerheim Museum are in your itinerary. Venture out of the city with trips to Nuuksio National Park (in Espoo) and Porvoo Old Town (in Porvoo). There's still lots to do: take a stroll through Katajanokka, look for gifts at Academic Bookstore (Akateeminen Kirjakauppa), take in the architecture and atmosphere at Helsinki Cathedral, and contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Johannes Church.

An urban center set amongst the great Arctic wilderness, Rovaniemi serves as the capital of Lapland province.
Ounasvaaran Hiihtokeskus Oy has been added to your itinerary. Step out of the city life by going to Pyha-Luosto National Park and Safaris. Do your shopping at Kauppakeskus Sampokeskus and Arctic Circle Mall. Get out of town with these interesting Rovaniemi side-trips: Church of Sodankyla (in Sodankyla), Kemi Church (in Kemi) and Maupertuis Memorial (in Pello). Next up on the itinerary: pause for some serene contemplation at Rovaniemi Church, don't miss a visit to Lordi's Square, explore the different monuments and memorials at German Soldier s Cemetery, and browse the different shops at Sampokeskus Shopping Centre.
