Finland's largest and most populated metropolis, the maritime town of Helsinki boasts varied architecture, a lively cafe culture, and plethora of picturesque natural delights.
Change things up with a short trip to Nuuksio National Park in Espoo (about 48 minutes away). There's still lots to do: explore the historical opulence of Sea Fortress Suomenlinna, get to know the fascinating history of The Esplanadi Park, take in the spiritual surroundings of Uspenskin Cathedral (Uspenskin Katedraali), and admire the landmark architecture of Temppeliaukio Church.

Kouvola

Kouvola is a town and municipality in southeastern Finland. Kick off your visit on the 4th (Sat): explore the striking landscape of Repovesi National Park. On the 5th (Sun), you'll have a packed day of sightseeing: head off the coast to Varissaari - Fort Elisabeth, then stroll around Riverside Park, then see the interesting displays at Model Railroad Museum Kouvola, and finally take a peaceful walk through Niivermaki Nature Conservation Area.
