Kotka is a city and municipality of Finland.Kotka is located on the coast of the Gulf of Finland at the mouth of Kymi River and it is part of the Kymenlaakso region in southern Finland. Kick off your visit on the 23rd (Fri): take in nature's colorful creations at Sibelius Park, then see the interesting displays at Maritime Centre Vellamo, then appreciate the history behind Kotka Sculpture Promenade, and finally walk around Sapokka Water Garden. Keep things going the next day: admire the striking features of Varissaari - Fort Elisabeth, go for a walk through Linden Esplanade, take in the spiritual surroundings of Kotka Church, then stroll around Riverside Park, and finally let the kids burn off some steam at Katariina Seaside Park.
