Sitting at the mouth of the Aura River, Turku is one of Finland's quaintest and most historically rich towns.
Do some cultural sightseeing at Turku Castle and Aboa Vetus & Ars Nova. Turku Cathedral and Archangel Michael's church will appeal to history buffs. Kotka is a city and municipality of Finland.Kotka is located on the coast of the Gulf of Finland at the mouth of Kymi River and it is part of the Kymenlaakso region in southern Finland. Kick off your visit on the 9th (Fri): admire the striking features of Main Building of Military School, pause for some serene contemplation at St. John's Church, take in the architecture and atmosphere at Marian Kirkko, contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Saint Peter and Saint Paul Cathedral, then contemplate the long history of Hamina Town Hall, and finally steep yourself in history at Kotka Church. On the 10th (Sat), you'll have a packed day of sightseeing: take in nature's colorful creations at Sapokka Water Garden, then get engrossed in the history at Langinkoski Imperial Fishing Lodge Museum, and then see the interesting displays at Maritime Centre Vellamo.
