Finland's largest and most populated metropolis, the maritime town of Helsinki boasts varied architecture, a lively cafe culture, and plethora of picturesque natural delights.
On the 16th (Tue), pause for some serene contemplation at Helsinki Cathedral, then take in the spiritual surroundings of Uspenskin Cathedral (Uspenskin Katedraali), then explore the historical opulence of Sea Fortress Suomenlinna, and finally explore the world behind art at Kansallisgalleria. On your second day here, contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Kamppi Chapel of Silence, take in the architecture and atmosphere at Temppeliaukio Church, admire the masterpieces at Museum of Contemporary Art Kiasma, then admire the landmark architecture of Helsinki Central Railway Station, then make a trip to Senate Square, and finally stop by Marttiini Senaatintori.

Finland's largest and most popular ski resort, the fell of Levi provides excellent slopes and lively nightlife in an enchanting setting.
On the 18th (Thu), grab your bike and head to Levi Ski Resort. Here are some ideas for day two: join the crowd at Icekarting Levi, then look for gifts at Elan Ski Shop & Rental, then identify plant and animal life at Lapland Safaris Levi, and finally fly down the slopes at Yllas Ski Resort.

Fly from Helsinki to Levi in 3 hours. Alternatively, you can drive; or do a combination of train and bus. Plan for a bit cooler temperatures traveling from Helsinki in February, with highs in Levi at -5°C and lows at -12°C. An urban center set amongst the great Arctic wilderness, Rovaniemi serves as the capital of Lapland province.
On the 20th (Sat), explore the fascinating underground world of Syvasenvaara Fell, don't miss a visit to Santa Claus Village, don't miss a visit to Santa Claus Office, then revel in the low prices at Marttiini Store Old Factory, and finally explore the different monuments and memorials at German Soldier s Cemetery.
