Finland's largest and most populated metropolis, the maritime town of Helsinki boasts varied architecture, a lively cafe culture, and plethora of picturesque natural delights.
Get in touch with nature at Nuuksio National Park and Bellevue Beach. Explore the numerous day-trip ideas around Helsinki: Linden Esplanade (in Kotka) and Runeberg Park (in Porvoo). The adventure continues: admire the landmark architecture of Temppeliaukio Church, pause for some serene contemplation at Helsinki Cathedral, take in the spiritual surroundings of Uspenskin Cathedral (Uspenskin Katedraali), and make a trip to Senate Square.

Inari is Finland's largest, most sparsely populated municipality, with four official languages, more than any other in the country. On the 15th (Thu), get a dose of the wild on Angeli Reindeer Farm, pause for some serene contemplation at Pielpajarvi Wilderness Church, then hike along Juutua Nature Trail, and finally examine the collection at Siida - Sami Museum and Nature Center.

An urban center set amongst the great Arctic wilderness, Rovaniemi serves as the capital of Lapland province.
On the 16th (Fri), identify plant and animal life at Arctic Emotions Oy and then wander the wide-open spaces of Napapiirin Porofarmi.
